Hello my name is Ken Yan, and I am one of the UBSC Alumni. Congratulations to the 30th Anniversary for the center. In the last 30 years, UBSC has been playing a significant role in helping numerous immigrating students with homework and learning English. As one of the students benefiting in the past, I am continuing to show my support and prayer to my beloved UBSC!Hello, everyone! I am Xiaotong Huang, a tenth grade student. I came to the U.S. in 2018, and in the same year, I came to my first after-school tutoring class – Upward Bound Study Center.Two years have passed, and UBSC’s help to me was kept in my mind. I learned a lot from the center, such as vocabulary, idioms, grammar, and writing. Now, I have made progress in all aspects, and I am no longer as panicked and afraid as before. UBSC not only helps students on English, it also helps them to become better persons. I cannot grow up to where I am now without the help from UBSC. Thank you for UBSC’s help, and thank you for making me better!
