Day 7

“My name is Jonathan Fung, and I am an immigration attorney and a board member of Upward Bound Study Center. The reason I value UBSC so much as an organization is because they foster a sense of community and belonging not only for immigrant students, but also their parents. My grandparents immigrated to the U.S. from Hong Kong in the 1960s, and the most important reason my parents and I were able to thrive in this country is because they were also welcomed into the community and cared for by their neighbors. I believe that UBSC is doing the most important work – sharing hospitality with newcomers and investing into future generations of caring and generous Americans!”

No matter how much you give, I am very grateful. Even if you donate very little, we will thank you for every penny you donate and hope that we can study hard.
