Day 21

The first time I knew about Upward Bound Study Center was through my cousin. He said that it is a place for people who are newcomer to this country to study English and make new friends. He suggested that I should go there, given that fact that I am not a social person and have been staying in Florida for half of a year without making any new friends. So, I said yes. It has been a life-changing choice that I have make personally. I have met so many amazing people and learn so much as a student. I am also able to give back and serve as an operation assistant to the same community that I once was part of. I sincerely appreciated for anyone in the center that has helped me to grow as a student and as an adult. I also appreciated that there is Upward Bound Study Center connecting people in the community so that people can find the help they need.
