Day 17

Upward Bound Study Center, a name may not be very noticeable on the New Ave. Plaza, but it’s existence has brought so much to my life. The love, friendship and experiences that I gained when I first became one of the students until now are profound, precious and unforgettable.
It’s a privilege to have been part of the big Upward Bound family, especially during the early years of my American journey. Without Upward Bound Study Center, my journey in America would have been rewritten, and I don’t want to rewrite it. —- Maggie Wen

The reason why I like The program UBSC is because they teach us how to be all influential readers, and more professional writers. Even learn about our favorite animals and others. I especially like the first class with Ms.​Susan when we take turns reading a story together. I had a lot of fun learning about the Toucan and the coca cola secret recipe. My other favorite is my last class reading National Geographic.
